Train radio and cab safety systems
Understand the location, function and safety-critical nature of radio and cab safety systems.
Braking systems
Cover brake systems, air supply, brake control, wheel slide prevention, ancillary equipment and maintenance tools.
Exterior and saloon door systems
Develop knowledge of rail vehicle door maintenance, installation, fault finding and reporting.
