Collaboration Board

The Collaboration Board at NTAR provides essential governance and strategic oversight for NTAR’s apprenticeship provision. Bringing together industry partners and subject experts, the board ensures our programmes remain high‑quality, compliant, and aligned with the needs of the rail sector. They review performance, support continuous improvement, and help shape the direction of our curriculum so every apprentice receives a consistent, industry‑relevant, and future‑focused training experience.

Apprenticeships Accounts & Programmes (AAP) Team

The Apprenticeship Accounts & Programmes team are here to support you throughout your apprenticeship because your success is our priority. From onboarding to completion, our Programme Managers meet with you regularly to check your wellbeing and progress, liaising with you, your Line Managers, and college tutors and assessors to ensure you are achieving and enjoying your programme. We work to Ofsted and DWP guidelines, overseeing your funding and progression every step of the way.

Siemens Mobility Professional Education (SMOPE) Team

Siemens Mobility Professional Education (SMOPE) provides the governance oversight for the apprenticeship provision at NTAR. SMOPE ensures that the provision remains compliant with Department for Education (DfE) funding rules, that funding continues to flow appropriately, and that our learners receive a high-quality education in line with Ofsted’s expectations. This is achieved through quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and the provision of guidance and support on matters relevant to the delivery of the apprenticeship programme.
