TPS & TWS (Trams)
Tramway Possession Supervisor & Tramway Worksite Supervisor
Location: Transport for London (TUCA), Lugg Approach (1 day)
This course trains candidates in the TPS and TWS roles, enabling them to safely manage possessions and worksites on London Trams infrastructure. It’s a one‑day course held monthly at TUCA, with required medical and ID documentation. After training, candidates must complete a mentoring period before their two‑year competency is issued.

This manual handling course teaches delegates what manual handling is, the types of injuries it can cause, and how to minimise risk through safe techniques and legal compliance. The course includes guidance on good lifting practice, workplace examples, a practical session with PPE, and a short test.

It gives learners the knowledge needed to understand components, interpret drawings, and carry out effective fault‑finding across multiple rail systems.
