Planning of CPD

Host: Edward James - Head of Business Partnering & Training

Do you know where you want your career to go, and are you actually planning for it?

Join us for a focused virtual session to understand how to plan your Continuing Porfessional Development (CPD) in a way that is realistic, meaningful, and aligned to your long-term career goals.

In this Lunch & Learn, we will explore:

  • What CPD really means in an apprenticeship and engineering context

  • How to identify the skills, knowledge, and experience that you want to build

  • Simple tools and techniques to plan and track your development

  • How to use CPD to strengthen your CV, EPA portfolio, and future career opportunities

  • Everyday actions you can take to continue growing beyond your programme

This session is designed to help you think more strategically about your career, take ownership of your development, and create a CPD plan that actually works for you!

Although this session is particularly helpful for first-year apprentices as they begin shaping their development journey, the themes we explore are relevant no matter where you are in your career. Therefore, all apprentices are encouraged to attend, if available, and make the most of the opportunity.
